The athletic goalkeeper had been signed for Kings AFC in the first division but due to a lack of first team opportunity, was looking elsewhere. After contract negotiations and a quick email of the paperwork, Estridge was officially unveiled as a Monyhull player on Thursday night, before the transfer deadline.
Gaffer Millist was happy to swoop in for the ex-Kings man who believes he will bring something new to the team, "he has a great attitude and willingness to get involved and he also has division one experience, that can only help us as we look to push on and improve".
It will no doubt ease the goalkeeping problem facing the 'hull, as the uncertainty surrounding current number one Hales, continues to grow. Hales' future is unsure as he looks to improve his employment situation.
